The DROP Plan Advantage®

The DROP Plan Advantage® process goes a step beyond the RetIRAprep® planning process (see RetIRAprep® tab), taking into account the additional planning requirements associated with DROP Plans. DROP Plan participants often retire with much larger supplemental dollar lump sums than does the average public safety employee. Invested wisely, this DROP Plan lump sum can provide lifestyle opportunities beyond the expectation of most public safety employees, and as such, requires enhanced planning attention, prior to and at retirement, coupled with continued focus on managing those sums subsequent to retirement.
